After chiseling into the tailgate, crew used marine battery power via inverter to charge a cell phone and power satellite receiver and television. Batteries were recharged with a small generator fueled with gasoline salvaged from tractor. Power, water and heat remained out for 10 days and the interior temperature of the spaceport stayed at 43 degrees.
