Panels are layered and cemented together under weight. They are carved to follow the edge of the center profile panel of plywood.
The payload bay area of the fuselage is covered in heavy framer's matting. This material was chosen to gently follow the arched payload bay door surface, supported by a center spine of poplar hardwood.
